In the year 1810 or 1820 there were specific gambling boats sailing up the Mississippi and the Ohio River. These boats became very popular and one can really understand why. Just imagine to be able to spend your vacation on a fashionable vessel with a lot of people interested in the same thing as you; that is to be able to gamble and play Black Jack. All around the boat they had lots of table for those who wanted to gamble. Many different card games were held at the boat and also perhaps roulette tables. Perhaps one could try the luck with the dices. For me it would be like heaven to be able to spend my vacation on such a boat.
